CANNABUS – Wednesday’s Wordapod

This Wednesday’s Wordapod is not designed to condone the activities described below. Then again, I wasn’t trying to weed them out, either.  Cannabus is one of over 250 creative Wordapods to be found in Wordapodia, Volume One: An Encyclopedia of Real Fake Words.

Cannabus (n) – a large, commercial motor vehicle that allows its passengers to smoke marijuana legally

Please Note:  Although many a school bus may seem (and smell) like a cannabus, they are not truly cannabuses, as smoking pot is not legal there. It’s just tolerated.

So,Who Knew…?

There used to be many more cannabuses in the 1960’s and 1970’s, when large charter services such as Rolling Doobies thrived, and recorded all-time high profits. Sadly, the Reagan Administration (as well as changes in the auto industry) had effectively put an end to such services in the 1980’s.

The only existing cannabus company that we are aware of is called Greybong. They advertise deluxe “roach” seats, and their unofficial motto is:  “Go, Greybong, and leave the smoking to us.”
